like a big obsession

maybe it stems from a desire to escape the burdens of being an occupant on this planet

I'm not an artist, I'm a writer, but recently I did a lot of very rudimentary landscapes to add flair to a document for work and I liked it a lot, even if the landscapes weren't up to par.

... flying heads in 3/4? :joy: That's my ultimate comfort zone
I actually have a soft spot for characters eating desserts. I really don't like drawing anything except people, but after a short comic about a coffeeshop I found out I really enjoy drawing those cute cupcakes and other sweet stuff (and of course, the characters who are enjoying them).
Also shoes. I do like drawing shoes :pumpkin:

Thanks! The little guy at the bottom he's probably my favorite. Cuz i was inspired when i saw my little sister put an acorn cap onto of a marshmallow.

Fights, facial expressions during fighting

Baby hippos and elephants are precious and unfairly despised 🥺

I'm sorry for bumping, but I just came across this thread and decided I can find some inspiration and what people like to draw. My favorite this to draw for example is flowers, I guess. I like to draw these fine lines, repeat the curves of the petals, and of course, then paint it all with extraordinary colors. By the way, I am very much inspired by live flowers, flowers whose smell I can feel and feel their buds. I order flowers online in bulk https://fiftyflowers.com/collections/carnations1 to get as many and cheaper as possible.

Faces and women
Backgrounds can be fun and relaxing too
When I started drawing again 7,5 years ago I tried to draw portraits
of allot of people that I know from the rock´n´roll scene, I started with
the girl I was sharing an apartment with, I did this so much that people
started asking me to draw their portrait and then I got commissioned.
Some people got tattoos of those drawings and some still have it as
their facebook profile picture which is kind of cool.
Here is an old one of a rocknroll dj

I hear you on the space thing - I draw it as often as I can! (especially if it features Dot!)

I love drawing action/noodley-movement!

More recently, I cannot f**king stop drawing football players. Just... so much movement. So much power. (So much MUSCLE)
