tl:dr I found a video and it triggered some nostalgia with the music I'm gonna post, it's way better than I remembered

So, Brizzy Voices remade her video where she voiced all the original Pokemon from like 7 years ago, but she came up to the legendary bird Pokemon and goddamn if that didn't send me on a nostalgia trip. Pokemon the Movie 2000 (the movie featuring the legendary bird Pokemon) had an American release and my dad bought the VHS when I was a kid, so like, of course, I watched it a bunch. Let me say, the score in the US version is just something else and it had no business being as moving and intense as it was then!! Nostalgia's playing a huge part for me in making this better no doubt, but even without that, I say it holds up wonderfully, man. As a musician now messing around with making OST styled music, I have much grander appreciation for this and I just aghhhhh I feel real happy having remembered about it

Pokemon the Movie 2000 Original Motion Picture Score
I can't find the full score anywhere on Youtube, but the full one I found have the Pokemon sounds in the music. I'm not linking those lol so here's the best quality I can find that happens to have the.. Portuguese cover with a deformed Lugia??

I just so happen to be part Portuguese so that's not a problem at all~

Made in Abyss' Hanazeve Cardhina is my favorite of all time. I also liked Nagi no Asukara's OSTs.

The Battle is Too Strong and Point Zero (Fate/Zero)

They're not my most favorite, but they are what come to mind so easily.

Haha  i've been online long enough to know how certain things work

19 days later

I was going to talk about Shinichiro Watanabe's animes, but a lot of people already did :smug_01: anyway, I love the musics from Cowboy Beebop, Sakamichi no Apollon, Space Dandy and Carole & Tuesday!

I also have a soft spot for 80's and 90's openings and endings, probably because I grew up watching them... Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam Wing, Ranma 2/3, Sakura Card Captor, Rurouni Kenshin, Saint Seiya, Corrector Yui, Saber Marionette J and J to X...

As for more recent animes, the whole Rozen Maiden series has great music. I love ALI Project.

I also really like the OST of the 2007 Towards the Terra adaptation.

And of course this absolute banger

I totally agree with 80s and 90s stuff. Old-school J-Pop is sooo good!
And ALI Project! I love them too! In my case, I found them through CLAMP's stuff.

I would say to look into Moribito. Not only is it a GREAT anime, but the opening song is awesome. It’s not really fast paced, but it’s really tender in terms of the story and lyrics. I haven’t paid a ton of attention to the background music, though. I really like the background music to Mushi-Shi.
