the golden retriever who loves everybody unless they have a reason not to, especially when they're buddied up with someone more stoic. Also the person who pretends to always be annoyed with their friends

Secretly in love / totally oblivious to each other's affections
Golden retriever / grumpy old cat platonic dynamic duo
Mustache-twirlingly evil bad guy / mastermind
Supportive found family

Ohh, I also like complex villains. In my slice of life stories, I like writing villains with mindsets and mixtures of good and bad that make it hard to flat-out deem them villains. More like people who seriously hurt others and never do anything to fix it, which separates them from the protagonists/heroes, people who seriously hurt others and DO do things to try to fix it
