I've always loved drawing to the soundtrack to the anime .hack//Sign!
Other than I listen to movie soundtracks (for example LotR, Twilight, Kick-Ass) and I've also got a bunch of different songs depending on what kind of feeling I'm looking for when I draw. I also like listening to podcasts and a certain Swedish radio show (Morgonpasset) when I draw

I grew up in a rock and roll family, so a lot of my music has a lot of awesome guitar work! But recently I've been listening to a lot of anime soundtracks like @dotsandswirls, mainly Attack on Titan's strangely enough, the battle music is beautiful. But as guilty pleasures, and because it suits down to the ground when I've been drawing, electo swing/nightcore/electo hiphop... Believe me, this is guilty pleasure- I've never liked this before!! Oh, and Final Fantasy music, that's great with emotional scenes!

I love all genres of music and I will listen to anything as long as its good, but I like loud "weird" music and I've also got a special fondness for folk punk and the like...very embarrassing special fondness cause most of it is trash, but eh, I love it anyway.

My favorite band ever is The Mountain Goats, though! They're not to everyone taste but theyre a pretty good fav band to have because they have hundreds of songs. They've been making music since before I'm alive and they're still going!! I will never run out of music.

I don't really have a favorite music genre, as I only listen to music that I think sounds good. If the music sounds great to my ears, I'll listen to and enjoy it regardless of the genre. It's hard to really to choose just one genre when there is so much great music out there! A few genres that I can say off the top of my head that appeal to me are Jpop/jrock, reggae, classical, Celtic, r&b and pretty much most 80s stuff.

I'm a writer so I listen to all kinds of different music when I'm writing. Depends on my mood, I guess. Lately I've been listening to a Deep Focus playlist on Spotify that's pretty rad. Most times I am listening to punk or metal though.
