Back To The Future and Army of Darkness would sit at the top for me. I'm also a fan of comedies and animated movies. I'd rather watch something lighthearted than a grim, gritty, depressing, slower-paced movie. I'm just into more cheerful movies (and TV shows).

ALL THE STAR WARS MOVIES. Coz...Star Wars.

Big fan of John Carpenter's late 70s/early 80s movies- so The Thing, The Fog, Halloween, Escape from New York, Assault on Precinct 13...

Night of the Living Dead- the 1960's original.

And almost any old Kung-Fu movie from the 70s- the one with the old masters with the long ass Fu-Manchu mustache & beards, and they jump almost 20 feet in the air and stuff. I will spend entire Saturdays watching this stuff.

HOLY HELL SOMEONE ELSE HAS WATCHED THE BROTHERS BLOOM I keep trying to get my sister/ my friends to watch it :'0 it's such a beautiful and clever story with a lot of heart and the cast is great and i love the old-timey aesthetic to it, ahhhHHH

Favorite Line (s): Penelope's whole "I think you're constipated. In your f*cking soul," spiel on the train, as well as her card-trick monologue. Gosh, I love that movie so much im sorry for rambling.

But yes the rest of these mostly too are great as well!!

@Hot_Coffee yeah, Boogie Nights was GREAT! That was back when Wahlberg was doing some decent acting.

@DaikotoDwolv Totally forgot about Aliens(2)- I've probably watched that movie as much as I've watched The Thing.

@agentfink NOOOOOO! I cant escape that movie- it's only been on the Netflix list since 2011 when I FIRST created a streaming account(Dale & Tucker). I'm like "Will they EVER take that movie off Netflix?"

So many great movies haha, especially the animated ones. I feel I need to add Aladdin since I haven't seen any one post it yet. Grew up with that movie =]

But I think if I were to seriously pick which movie I thought was the best written and had my favorite story it would be Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven (the full director's cut).
It was such an intelligent movie, politically, philosophically, and even a bit spiritually as well. It also felt like one of - if not the most balanced films on religions I'd seen from an epic hollywood movie.
All the actors were fantastic - the Middle Eastern actors, Alexander Siddig and Ghassan Massoud absolutely killed it. That's why I really felt the white washing in Exodus was a shame on Ridley Scott's part.
