Hello, I've been working on a project creating a comic web application. I'm looking for feedback to create a list of features that a comic app would need for an everyday user.
For example now that vertical scroll is a thing, both vertical scroll and single page clicks can be a feature on the app. So it would help the end user.
I want to create a road map to tackle one task at a time. The goal is not to make a platform but instead aim for individuals who create art or comics and need a web app with built in functionality to publish their work online.
Some features that will come with the app:
- paypal payment
- coins
- lock and unlock chapters
The purpose:
While there are other apps out there such as wordpress to self host creator owned comics, apps like these require plugins, add-ons, or extensions. This comic app is focused and aims to have built in functionality out of the box.
The end goal:
I would like for the app to be open source and open a donation to continue developing to reach a stable web application.
The app is intended to be minimal, user friendly, with great features, I'm not looking to make a cluttered app.
I do intend to add theme support.
