Story-wise, it's an interesting plot. How did a boy turned into a superhero by just winning the lottery exactly? It's also interesting that you show how there isn't much to do for the hero (deep plot, anyone?). And sure not everyone is going to like the beginning because some were probably expecting the "typical hero-action", and not saying that there is anything wrong with the "typical hero-action" in particular, I'm just saying that it can sometimes feel a little bland from time-to-time. Now, to me the story seems to have a bit of slice-of-life elements. I wonder, is it part of how the comedy will take place or is? Or is it to make the hero more human and sociable?
Also, about the beginning of the comic, I find it mysterious and intriguing how you didn't show any of his abilities, if he has any at all. Would this be on purpose to humanize the hero more?
Now, the style of the comic seems easy and not very complicated. The dialog is fine and your transitions to panel-to-panel are, in my opinion, pretty well. Though, there are some misplacement of commas, periods , etc. Plus, there are also some awkward pauses when someone is talking, but they don't come up that regularly.
You show good placement of objects and backgrounds, though the backgrounds seem to be missing a little bit of details. Or would you be doing this on purpose to make the audience pay more attention to the characters and/or dialog? And speaking of the characters, the anatomy is actually quite better than I previously thought. Though, I wouldn't say that it doesn't need any room for improvement. That would be ignorant. No matter how skilled or how experienced someone is, there will always be time and a need for improvement.
The colors are alright. Nothing spectacular... but you don't show super saturated colors, which is good. No eyeballs bleeding here... You also show a great use of colors and it's not too distracting to the readers. Well, for me anyway.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention this: I think the comic and how the story goes has a very quick pace to it, in my opinion. It just seems kind of rushed. It's the kind of rush that is "I must upload this as fast as I can" kind. Now, for some readers, it works, and for others, not much. Pacing is a bit more of a subjective topic: meaning there isn't really a definitive answer. It depends on what kind of comic it is, how it is written and shown, the panels, etc. But, the decision is totally up to you. I'm just a reader sharing my thoughts. But I kind of understand why, you just want to show more of what you have in store.
Well, that's all I can discuss for now. If I missed anything or if I wasn't being very critical, you can ask me. Or if you just have any questions in general, again, you can ask. I hope my feedback was of any help to you.
