The resolution is the same. Tapas accepts higher res files, yeah, but that doesn't mean it won't accept the 800px files too.
I use this website called Croppy to resize my episodes for both Webtoon and Tapas, and it keeps everything in HD. It's a godsend, really, lmao. I recommend using it if you're hosting on both Webtoons and Tapas.

I also suggest Photoshop. Great to use for final touch, I mainly use it for inputing dialogues and slicing the comic into parts :> and yeah it keeps the resolution too

I don't think its a curse. It's a blessing. You get to experience twice as much from both culture and its not as often that it happens.
