Finding a private message on Tapas.io

So I've been private messaging someone and, with the latest message, I opened it but accidentally closed out and now I can't find it in my activity file. Where can I find it? Or is it lost forever?

Klick on your avatar picture. There should to be a "messages" icon at the top right angle of the drop-down menue. (for desctop)

Thanks for replying, unfortunately I was referring to Taps.io main website

though I at least know where to find one here!

Try to look it up on your wall then. Atleast I find mine there. I suppose it works like this if you've been messaged by someone while your PM feature is not yet opened.

You should be able to see this message either at your Tapas wall (if your interlocutor has initiated the private dialog), or at their Tapas wall (if you have started the dialog). Try to scroll walls further, these private dialogues can easily go buried deeply down by other posts.
Also you can reach it from notification page, but only for a while. They usually dissapear from it in a day or two, while stay saved at the wall.
