I hope you can find an artist.
However, I would ask:
What can you give an artist so they are interested in working on you and your story?
Since this is your story, your characters, your idea and the only thing you're lacking right now is someone to draw your vision.
Collaborations are mostly about two people having a vision and then forming up an idea and structuring it together. And usually, it is harder to form one when the other person is just a means to an end.
I'm not an artist seeking for unpaid work, since my time, effort and especially adult life require me to make an income if I want to keep a roof on top of my head and continue working.
And if those things were solved for me and I had the time to do some ad honorem gigs, the question will still be there, why would I work in your story?
Let's say the story interests me, but, motivation drains quickly if I see myself doing an effort in exchange of nothing. What do you consider effort and what, detailed, kind of work are you going to do? What can you offer of interest to an artist so they won't quit or goes seeking better or more profitable opportunities?
If you don't find an artist or, you can notice that right now, it is not available within your posibilities to make a comic, because most of the time is not free, most of collaborators don't have anything of real interest to keep them motivated long term, then... I would recommend making a novel, building up your fanbase, building up a career, experience, a portfolio and then, as time goes by you eventually and hopefully have supportive readers or followers, or have a job that can allow you the luxury to pay for art, then maybe you'll be able to adapt your novel into a comic, like several did and do.
