Here's a fun thing to do! My phone is updating and I have nothing going on so let's play a game. I want to see your OCs in their first ever appearance and their latest appearance. I think it's a good way to gauge artistic and stylistic growth as well! You can write a little bit about them if you want to, too!

I'll go first:

This is Menagerie and he's probably my favorite character to draw and write. He's loud, he doesn't care, he can partially or fully turn into animals he has touched (except less complex animals like insects and other smaller invertebrates). I don't get to draw him too much because he doesn't turn up until later on in the story but he really is my favorite! Ugh like... I really want to give him a spin off just so I can draw him ALL the time!

There are about 2.5 years between these two images.

While I'm taking a moment to procrastinate finishing the next page of my comic, I'll show the evolution of my main character, Viper.

I've been going through some art block recently, so this was a nice opportunity for me to show myself that I actually HAVE improved no matter how much it feels like I haven't. Thank you!

That's a good character design.

Okay get ready for some crazy time travel, because this character is over a decade old.

Bernard is the lead singer of the band, Poison of your Choice. He's not very socialized and is more like a feral raccoon than a human being.

For some reason he has a deep and abiding hatred toward the victorian author, Henry James.

I really like this design. It reminds me a little bit of a character I had growing up by the expressions and palette. And the second picture is so good my god.

It's crazy when you actually look at how long you've had characters isn't it? I just realized through this that my character is about 13. If he were real he'd be a teenager! D8

And yes, everyone is doing amazing work!! And you don't have to show your characters in-comic, I wanted to see more like THE first time you ever drew them to the most recent time you drew them, you know? I guess I didn't make myself clear enough haha
