This is mostly just a self-promo, however I would love to read other novels if you'd like to share!
I've just completed the first two novels in my trilogy Son of Fire! It's been a long and difficult journey, but my readers have made it worth it. If any of them are reading this now, then I just want to extend the deepest and warmest of thanks. I've often thought about giving up and dropping this story. But my readers, however few, have truly kept me going. Thank you <3
If anyone is looking for a modern gay urban fantasy to read, try giving this story a shot! It tackles a lot of modern adult themes. Purpose, agency, creating a life for yourself after trauma and childhood neglect, and learning how to love again. And, while the plot may seem ridiculous, the prevailing themes are anything but.
Thank you all!

Description:
In the Son of Fire, there is a world that exists parallel to our own, a world of arcane, of the supernatural. Its two leading and opposing forces, Atlas and the Alloy, have been engaged in war for decades, both with different ideals as to what it means to be gifted. But behind these philanthropic masks, corruption runs deep on either side. Greed, fear, and revenge are pulling the strings, keeping this never-ending fight at a stalemate. The only thing said to save this world from its leaders is the prophesied Son of Fire, Heir to the Underworld, who will dismantle all structures of government to give the gifted a new beginning and a chance to live in harmony with each other and with the mortal world.
But Aiden Brooks is an ordinary man. Surely, fate made a mistake in choosing him. At least, that's what he wants to believe. But he soon discovers that he is not as ordinary as he thought, thanks to the help of Alloy Division Leader and undercover rebellion organizer Alexis Irias. He must become a true soldier to convince the Alloy of his loyalty as the two hatch a plan to overthrow the leader in power, even if it means going against his own morals.
But will it be enough?
Can a wallflower become a hero?
And can he make the necessary sacrifices in love and in life to save humanity from itself?
