Writing is a lonely endeavour and too often do we end up wallowing in our struggles and forget to celebrate our small victories. So this is a place to unashamedly brag about any and all good things that have happened to your story lately!

Achieved a sub milestone? A spike in the rankings? Staff's pick? Got to a certain wordcount you were aiming for? All of the above? Flex it and let's celebrate together! No achievement is too small, if it matters to you and it made you happy, then it counts! And feel free to leave a link to your story so people can check it out, too!

I'll start! I've been on Tapas for about 6 weeks and I have no idea what are "good" or "bad" stats for that timeframe, but I'm super happy with mine!

  • 1st Place Popular in the Horror Category
  • Currently 2nd Place Trending in the Fantasy Category
  • Currently 9th Place Popular in the Fantasy Category Free to Read (I don't even wanna look at the overall, there's no competing with the Premium Novels lmao)

Next objectives are to reach 100 subs and 1st Place Trending on Fantasy! :muscle:

Heeey, congrats! I always see your work when I'm browsing through Top Categories. Although I haven't read is because it's tagged as Horror.

Thank you! Don't know if it makes a difference to you (and others!) or not, but it's more terror than horror, i.e. more creepy, unsettling, gothic horror style than, say, shock gore gallore.

TALIPANDAS has been on top 1 on Fantasy for at leas three days. I haven't updated and monitored it for days because I'm currently on hiatus, but the last time I check it's been moving up and down the Top 10 most popular for Fantasy-themed novels, free, of course for more than a week. I only screenshotted one just to commemorate for it being on top.

Red Ribbon: Cave Full of Treasures got top placed on Slice of Life a day after I posted its first episode. Even though it only has 4-6 chapters, it's still on the top 10... last time I checked.

Edit: I checked. Talipandas is on Top 15 and Red Ribbon is currently Top 1

Can't take an SS for Talipandas since it's way down...

For my overall work, I finished one of my webcomics, my main one just reached 100+ subs on Tapas, Comic Fury and Webtoons, I created my first ever calendar based on one of my webcomics and my main webcomic is almost finished.

Ooo that's a lot of good stuff, congrats!! And if you want to take screenshots of things a bit further down, F11 and then zoom out! It's what I do!

:sparkles::sparkles::sparkles::sparkles:well:sparkles::sparkles::sparkles:

I’ve been posting my second novel for 2.5 months and it was been :sweat_02: interesting to get readers. BUT I’ve had:

-Top Horror*
-Top trending horror*
-28 episodes
-89 subs (so close to 100 :coffee_love:)
-so many compliments on my writing

And...

My story is staff pick this week 🥳🥳🥳

*mine is gothic horror, so it’s not big on spooks if you’re worried about being scared :smile_01:

Can confirm that this is awesome and deserves all the good things! Congrats on the staff pick, I'm so happy for you, ghoulie! And SOON you'll get those sweet 100 subs. :tapa_pop:

:cry_02: thank you!

Yours deserves all the recognition and more.

  • I think I placed in the top 15 a couple times in LGBTQ and BL but I don't know
  • Currently next to the floor in rankings
    Next objective: 250 subscribers.

My first chapter came out March 13 so its been just under 2 months? Not bad. I think my strength is engaging readers because even though I've never been a staff pick or broken the top 10 in a category, I've built readership that engages with comments and likes. I am regularly roasted in the comments of my own story. I added a "comment of the week" section in my features as a showcase of the reader's wit. Assassin's Captive is a comedy/ romance but readers wax poetic in the comments section of the serious chapters, too. I recently posted a chapter where someone gets decapitated and it's kind of serious but the comments were a series of one-liner jokes. It was fantastic. My people!

It's been a slow few months but managed to hit some milestones!
Congrats to everyone on their achievements! :heart_02:

This is exactly what I want to achieve, my envy is boundless and I bow to you, queen.

I don't have a novel on Tapas, just my comic. I work solo on it, so I write it all. The series has two lives, one is online and the other offline.

Offline:
100+ copies sold!!! :heart_03: (Independently published)
Sold in 3 store locations.

How can people pick one line? Every time I think “this one,” I find another one and I have to regroup from laughing so I can keep reading

My ongoing comic is sustaining decent viewings for how many subs I have:
