I think I improved a lot! I still gotta learn a lot about photoshop, presentation, and lighting, but it's an improvement.

Something good had to come out of 2020 so let's share it!

Every time I start a new sketchbook, I draw a piece on the first page to the best of my current abilities. I redo the same piece at the end of every sketchbook using what I've learned. Here's the most recent installment - incidentally, also August - December 2020.

Here is mine but they are all in the 2020 because it is my first time finishing/drawing on digital using a Laptop touchpad (much harder than I anticipated, because your fingers hurt to much )

This is the first of the drawing I had did I think before the fall or during the fall, it isn't digital though
(also here is a clearer one, this one has filters on that is why it looks dark)

This here is what I did on digital I'm not sure what the exact date is but I'll just say its in the fall, I had messed this up highly because I didn't know what I was doing tbh

This is a redrawn I had did on another website that I had found here .. (know that I never practiced with drawing digitally, had a couple of times but it was long time ago) So uh yeah...

Very much have gotten a better grasp on the styling of my comic and character design!

and for the comic itself, even though these two examples are about an update apart, I worked a lot of the panels chronologically out of order. Part 5's entire section was worked on back in april of 2020 (before the end of the dream world segment was finished) released in august, while part 6 was worked on and released in november.

...Honestly, though, it's not much that I "learned" how to draw perspectives. I knew how to draw them. I just had no idea how to draw them digitally. But now that I found out how to make Procreate perspective grids work, nobody is going to stop me, lol

Thanks! I think most of the improvement that I made was thanks to quitting making comics weekly.

Like @arbiterswake I also began digital art in October, but already how I approached making it has changed. I see the difference...maybe you will too? Apparently bugs are a constant in my life/comic
