The no AI claim seems dubious. I just peeped the front page, and there are tons of novel covers that are clearly AI generated.

Seems to be either bot or staff promoting the platform. There's already another that only talk about novel cult these few days.

Reading the about section, it says that it doesn't allow AI writing, but it does allow AI generated covers as long as it's tagged as such. Which is a good start, but why be against one form and not the other?
The site does seem interesting but the covers and it being so new yet being promoted a lot has me wary

That's fair, I really like it so far (I started posting a few days ago) but I'm still waiting to see if my story type (Guideverse BL) is even going to be acknowledged there... I also like Pinya, which is another fairly new startup platform. It reminds me of Tapas, and I've seen several other creators who prefer it for that very same reason.

you can also check out minkly io, it has a no ai policy, allows you to add password protection to your chapters so you can post it on a patreon (I see some authors doing this), you can set chapters locked behind a token prices you set and the sharing is generous, has rotating competition with cash prizes. it's hard to catch all ai generated stuff, but it forces you to label covers generated by ai and if you don't then list out the artist who made it. It also has a moderator team that updates the series if it's mislabeled.
