Nobody is going to meet these characters until December (when the sequel to Re:Apotheosis goes live), but the funniest general character interactions in the series go to Aquila and Kasumi.
They are inspired by Altair and Setsuna from Re:Creators. Aquila is a lovely young lady who always wears a military coat with a popped collar whenever she is outside (regardless of the weather or sanity of it), and who happens to have the powers of a god. If you're familiar with The Destroyer from Re:Apotheosis, Aquila is around two orders of magnitude more powerful. Kasumi is her creator, and she has a bit of a mother hen dynamic with Aquila. There's a really big emotional payoff when you find out why, so I won't spoil that, but what I will reveal is that Kasumi is basically the only person in the entire multiverse who can tell Aquila what to do.
There are a lot of fun dynamics between the two, but my favourite is this one: So...what is the one thing that can make this all-powerful being, somebody who can literally freeze time in an entire story world and create worlds of her own, quake in helpless terror?
Wearing a dress.
...which leads to this exchange in the draft of the final chapter of the sequel:
“Oh yes, absolutely yes!” Athena said, embracing Kasumi and then Aquila. “And you’ll be my maid of honour, please!” she said to Aquila.
Aquila nodded. “Of course. I’d be delighted.”
Kasumi looked at Aquila and grinned. “You’ll look great in a bridesmaid dress.”
Aquila went pale. “Dress? Um...I refuse. I’m not a dress-wearing person.”
“You’ll look amazing,” Kasumi pressed.
“No!” Aquila protested. “I am a god of destruction on the battlefield! I could kill everybody in this city in the blink of an eye! I could–”
“All of that’s true,” Kasumi said, taking Aquila by the arm and grinning. “And when we get back for the wedding, you’re going to be fitted for a bridesmaid dress.”
Aquila looked around in desperation. “Cap! You can help me – you have laser eyes! Use your laser eyes to destroy all the dresses in Japan! I’ll make it worth it!”
