I've presented these before, but I shall do so again.

The original Friar Chicken, back then, just a funnies concept and much simpler to draw, lol!

And the "first" appearance of him in my more dramatic comic:

I used a more chicken-like beak back then, but I once drew it differently by mistake and it stayed that way ever since.

Bonus: Ugly @$$ Alec Tryon, XD

:skull_crossbones:️ I found a picture of one of my characters about to beat the human form of another character with a table.

He would never actually do this now. Just think about it. A lot.

Well, here's the very first drawing of Sir Kiljaos, the main character of my Karamador comic, from 1999 before he even was a paladin or named Sir Kiljaos. He was just my first attempt on making The Lion King OC and ended up being just a copy of Simba. XD

And here's the first drawing of modern Sir Kiljaos from 2010, this one looking goofy to me as well nowadays. XD

And here's him nowadays.

Here's also an old drawing of fox princess Anima from 2008, with weirdly small lower bodies and extremely bushy tail. XD

And Princess Anima now.

Hmmmmm let’s see! To the Cilaverse Archives!

Well looky here what I found on my Instagram

Beta Elsie covers

Drawings from 2018!

And Jack being smooth lol

I don't have a lot of my original drawings of my OCs scanned because they were made before I even had social media. I did upload this one which was about 2008-ish. It does feature several characters who appeared in Crow's Worth and Frostpeak West.

I guess the main things that stand out is no on has any ears. And Bertie has stitches on his mouth, which is not present in the current series. He originally talked telepathically.

22 days later

might as well share this. it's weird but i still like it. reminds me of old cartoons

This is literally beautiful, is that the compass guy as human??? He was unhinged hours before it seems :sob:

I sometimes forget the very first drawing in my webcomic and it always makes me sort of chuckle it’s so derpy but I kind of adore it for that reason. I had the more or less the same skill I have now, but I just decided to draw this way for some reason instead. Way more fun :sparkles:

Also this was over a year ago though and it was a learning curve to get a hold of mspaint as a drawing program, but now I feel after drawing billions of these funky drawings I can draw in it pretty easily now!

Behold: Alfred, Alfriend… Alfiend???! >:0

Now he looks like this :sob: still silly of course just more my usual style!

Best character design I’ve ever drawn honestly… maybe I should but him somewhere in butter bee ??!!?

Yep that’s him

I imagine he would really enjoy having a human face so he could finally make smug expressions.

Woah I didn’t realize the mspaint would look so good printed!! I’m glad you liked the art :sparkles::sparkles:

I can still feel his smug expression though his body language is pretty telling :sob::sob::sob::joy: Wait can he not kiss anyone??! Real questions out there I guess lmao or does he still hope that he’ll get a kiss from her?

Some random digital artwork I did in the past. I am more used to drawing with pens or pencil on paper, so the earlier digital artwork looks very jagged and the coloring is so-so (was also using a different stylus back then, switched to my current tablet pen in fall 2023).

Sept 2023 (early drawing of a character from my current comic)

And for comparison, here's one from July 2024

Well, he has a mouth, but it’s not on his face it’s at the base of his neck… I feel like it would make kissing a little awkward. He’d probably prefer a kiss on his face anyway.

Oh that honestly sounds kinda spooky?? Kiss on the face sounds way less intimidating imo if he ever gets one from her that is :sob::sob::sob:
