Hey, there! I’m TheAlixila, the creator of The Path of Ember
There are many promotional posts for promoting your comic but they get filled up so quickly that your post gets lost. So, here’s another one to give you the opportunity to share your creation!
Feel free to mingle and support other creators by reading at least one episode and commenting/subscribing if you like their work

Here’s a fun little challenge! If you have a main character, draw him/her in their genderbend self. You can also add a description about them and/or post a link to your comic.

My main character’s name is Renbe. He is reckless and hasty which are not the best traits but he uses these to his benefit to overcome his obstacles. Especially after being thrown into an unknown world.
If you’d like to know more about him, please check out my comic!

I don't do "genderbends", no, but I do have a trans AU for my main character, Edwin.
She's fun, because Edwin has always been very gender nonconforming, though obviously leaning masculine in his presentation. Adjusting his design into something more feminine, while still visible as the same character only required a bit of makeup and hair change, along side some nice changes from HRT, of course! The intention is mostly to highlight that Edwin's character design can easily be read as "female" with little change.

It's also not a coincidence that she shares more of a resemblance to Edwin's 80s attire. The introduction of lipstick on Edwin is what gave me the idea in the first place!

I never decided on a transition timeline for her, since she is mostly a fun thought experiment rather than a fully realized character. She's basically the same as Edwin, the only main change is that she is openly bisexual, instead of Edwin's perpetual closetry. When you're already openly queer in one way (being a trans woman), the idea of wanting to hide your sexuality as well seems, well, pointless. Otherwise, she's just as cunning, ruthless, and egotistical as her cis counterpart.

Erwin looks fantastic! They have so much personality and thought put into them  I think I’m in love, honestly. I can’t wait to read more of your work!

Ah I used to draw genderbender of my main characters :joy:

This was actually one of my prompts for OC-Tober last year

Akina(left) and Niyu(right)
Akina is uptight, paranoid, and easily overwhelmed. Niyu is smart, but chill and sometimes lazy. The two were close friends in the past, but unfortunately they forgotten about it.

I never draw a genderbnd before, so here is only a little sketch  maybe I should do a real one later. it was really fun

this is my normal shin:

and my genderbend female shin

I did it once for the Joketober challenge of @oshirockingham ! It was pretty fun to do ^^

So that's a normal illustration of Nicola and Alexina

And that's the genderbend \o/

Ha! Yeah, I remember these from the posts in that crazy Joketober thread. I didn't have anything to post on the subject at the time, though the whole gender-bend trend goes on in my comic with my main-gal constantly.

The main character Sakurako, from my manga Hetero Sakura, with her genderbent counterpart Ooka!
