building off of Ghostie's comment about consistency, What I've noticed with my newish webcomic (also my first, although it's one that tells a longer story vs. your strip-style) is that I pretty consistently get like 1-2 subs per update, where I'm assuming most of them find my comic either on the Fresh or Trending lists. If I were to stop updating for a few months, I'd be rather surprised if I picked up any new subs during that time. The anecdotal reason I bring this up is I notice that we have similar amounts of subs/views/episodes (I have 60/~4.5k/29, you have 63/~3.7k/22) so it looks like we've grown at a similar rate as newbie creators- the only difference is that I started posted Oct. 2018 and have just posted my # of episodes over a shorter period of time giving the illusion of "faster growth".
So I guess my advice is just keep at it and if you feel as though your current project is underperforming or getting stale for you, don't be afraid to take a break and try something else. The name of the game is experimentation and persistence
Generally, most people seem to perform better there, def worth a shot mirroring there! My comic doesn't do as hot there vs. tapas but I seem to be in the minority xD And even then I have a nice little fan base there all the same~
