Summary

There is a scene in the manga where a child gets SA which was removed from the movie. I don't know if it is in the Netflix version but I doubt it. I think the removal of the scene was a good choice because it is not necessary to the plot at all and feels like it's just there to be shocking and exploitative.

I used to read the Dragon Ball manga as a kid ^^ The way Toriyama draws vehicles is one of the reasons I started including them in my drawings; I really like how he stylizes them, it makes the cars feel like another character in the image:

The first episode I watched was dubbed as "Card Captors" though I didn't understand anything anyone was saying. I watched the whole subbed series a few years later, but that old title is the one that sticks in my memory. Oh, translations . . .

I think the first dubbed anime I watched was Pokemon.

The characters in Piano no Mori are in elementary school, so about 10-11 years old. The child gets assaulted by a middle aged man. Like I said, the scene is unnecessary and was cut from the movie.

I don't know much about Made In Abyss, so I can't compare the two. I tend to dislike most anime anyways, even the stuff that is popular or has high praise.

Yuasa was on my radar every since Cat Soup (co writer).

Mindgame is incredible (plus has the best depiction of god in media) and I recommend it to anyone with depression or self doubt.
He reminds me of a Japanese Bill Plympton in many ways.
