If this is still ongoing then I would like to know what I do well, don't just blindly praise it. (This is stupid request judging from the title from this thread but just letting you know.)
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Drama
Content Warning: Extreme Violence. (Mostly gore but there isn't too much detail on it)
Just released the prologue and the first chapter of my novel, just trying to get any views at all, please do check it out if you have time.
It's about the rivalry between two girls of rich/noble blood, trying to uphold peace in the academy they attend to.
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Drama
Warning: Minor depictions of violence (No Gore, but mentions of blood, wounds, and injuries)
The first few chapters are relatively clean though, so this warning is only valid for future chapters.
@sushiroll_woofwoof - Sorry I know you posted this months ago, I'd review it but the link doesn't work. If you see this, link a book and I'll have read <3
@SquishBeanie - Link doesn't work? Not sure why. If you see this, feel free to link a book and I'll read it.
@ynes160515 -- left you a comment! I wasn't really sure where the piece was going so I might end up reading more when I have the time. I did like how thourough your character details are though, it's refreshing!
@cherrystark -- I absolutely adore the concept for your book. It's so interesting and really fits the episodic format you've got going. I'll read a bit more and if I like it I'll probs end up subbing.
@CommanderMarty -- I left a comment on the book but since you don't want me to just blindly praise it I'll give you some feedback here too. You show a lot more than you tell and that's not to say that show-dont-tell is a great rule, but I think for a lot of writers it helps set a structure and allows the reader to not really get into the tale. This is the case with your story. Your protagonist tells an awful lot and occasionally shows something, but it doesn't really work well because the protagonist seems to have no potential threat. Because of this, its hard to read the story as there doens't seem to be any danger. Overpowered main character stories are a thing, they're just not my thing, therefore I don't think I'm the audience for the book.
@Beyluta -- Hey, I adore your cover and the idea in general. There's a lot ot like in your first chapter honestly, it has a charm to it, from the characters to the writing itself. I hope you continue it
@sushiroll_woofwoof -- I like the concept. Though I'm not a big fan of Isekai in general, you seem to know your audience pretty well. You also have good presentation and marketing.
@redfeather714 -- you have a really nice voice in your writing, I'll probably end up continuing it. I'm not really into k-pop, I haven't entirely tried listening to it much but I did like the song on the first chapter, so thanks for introducing me to that bop!

My Glints Saga novels are inspired by the classics of the magical-girl genre. Both are stand-alone stories, so while Dove takes place after Papillon, you don't need to have read one story to understand the others.
Glints Saga: Papillon1 is about Faye Brice, a magical girl who saved the world with her friends...five years ago. Now she lives a normal life with an ordinary job, her past as the heroine Papillon nothing but a secret. Her chance meeting with a butterfly-woman leaves her fascinated and curious, but will bringing magic back into her life risk her friendships, her secrets...or even the peace she once fought for?
Glints Saga: Dove is about Nixe Fulton, who only wants the kind of life other teenagers enjoy...only to find out she's far unlike other teenagers. In the midst of a magical crisis, where once-peaceful magical beings living among humans are turning into berserk monsters, Nixe discovers a magical power that could stop this mysterious threat...and could give her the hope of changing what Nixe has always believed to be unchanging.
Both are just starting here on Tapas, and will have daily updates until they're caught-up with what I've already written.
@lilithfairenwrites -- I read Glints Saga: Papillon. Before I go on to talk about the actual work and its merits, I wanna just compliment you on the idea. I love a saga and I love people who write a lot in the same world. It's something I do a lot and it's always fun to find stories in those worlds. I love being immersed in an authors world, sometimes more than I enjoy their characters. Okay so onto the book:
Glints Saga: Papillon is well written and uses the trops of the magical girl genre well. The main character is likable, sort of relatable and your opening on her talking about her phone wallpaper actually get really nice. Now, I have a bias here because my gay ass grew up on Sailor Moon and Card Capture Sakura. I adore magical girl media and have since I was a kid so I was pretty giddy when I saw a read request that was that. You're a really stong writer who has an eye for character and you defo earned my sub. I'll probably start Glints Saga: Dove soon after I'm done reading my backlog. I'm 100% sure you're gonna end up popular here and it's pretty deserved.
@kitty-chan -- I read the first two episodes of your piece. I really like it. It's slow burning, character focussed! Which are both things I am here for. I'm also a big fan of BL and am currently binging a lot of BL media to catch up on what I missed when I was a little homophobic teen. You have a good eye for detail and it really shows that you love your work.
