GL Comic/Novel Promotion

I always feel like there’s so little GL content on Tapas, and even less that gets the attention it deserves, so I thought it’d be fun to have a thread where creators of GL stories could share their creations and discover others’! Just reply with a brief summary of your comic/novel and of course a link! And obviously it isn’t necessary, but if you’re posting your story, you should take a look at others in the thread as well!! anyway though, I’ll start off!;

My comic, Fae Crossing, is about girlfriends Marina and Liora, who run a sort of sanctuary for magical creatures! It’s meant to be cute and fun and overall uplifting, and of course the genre is fantasy!

I might have something, but the romance isn't the main focus. And one of the girls hasn't even been introduced yet, given how much has been uploaded. Is it alright if I post the story here anyway, since there will be an eventual GL relationship? If not, that's fine.

My comic is mainly a mystery/adventure comic surrounding a Strange Town(tm), but there will be a GL relationship in it! I'm not going to say which two are involved but it'll be really obvious soon. :'D

@HollowEve I feel like as long as the relationship will come in soon-ish, it’s fine to post !! Of course, you can really post it either way, but those were just the general guidelines I had in mind!

I'll post it, but with this disclaimer:
It's more of a slow build with one character helping the other through a crisis. When everything is put back together, then they realize their feelings.

My comic is about a shy lesbian who's persuaded to buy a companion android, which leads her to eventually making some other, not so great, choices. The tone gets a bit dark at times but there's plenty of cute moments as well

What a great thread!

Magic Advisor is a fantasy comedy with lesbian romance. Lizzy is a magic advisor helping people out with supernatural problems. Prim is a wannabe supervillain in frilly dresses who likes stealing occult objects. The comic follows the adventures of those two frenemies and their complicated romance

My comic isn't technically GL, but there is a yuri relationship that is very important to the overall storyline.

There are some really great ones on here! I'll try to check some out when I'm not so sleep-deprived haha.

My novel isn't just GL. There's also BL and a heterosexual relationship. I started it a few days ago for the Tapas Writers Camp competition, so there's only a few chapters up now. I really got in the zone and have focused on the BL relationship for a little bit, but it leads into the GL and heterosexual scenes. The novel focuses on 6 very different college students btw. I've just finished with the BL part for now and am planning on focusing on the GL next. Give it a try if you can!

Yuri, Yaoi and Hikikomori in the garden isn't only GL, but also BL and, most of those - TRAP. We still don't know a sex/gender of one of main characters.
And it's about gardeners and pianist.
If you like comedy just read it, seriously.

Between the Realms
Saedie thought she was having a really bad night, until a strange woman who calls herself Amirah, appeared. Whisking her away to a parallel dimension, Saedie learns of an entirely new world, a place where humans don't exist. This world is called Trea'h, a breathtaking realm of beauty and equally fatal among some of the inhabitants. Along the way, Saedie finds love, uncovers secrets long buried in blood, and what it truly means to make the ultimate sacrifice.

The comic series does have it's dark and action-packed moments as well as it's fluff. It's not smut, but our two leading ladies will consummate their love some time in the story. It also has hetero, malexmale, and androgynous characters however it's our two ladies that are the main focus X3

I also make a Spin-Off series from Between the Realms of my characters set in different AU's just for funsies. These stories are noncanonical so anyone can hop in and read them. Some are long and some are short, some are suitable for everyone while some have mature warnings~

I was told I should probably have GL on my icons because there are established and budding female couples in them.
But like, the relationship isn't the point in any of the books? I dunno.

Is the relationship between the main characters and somewhat prominent or important in the story? Even if it's not the main focus). I think it could count as GL/yuri then, especially if there no romance/sex involving males. (personally I dislike when stories featuring hetero sex scenes is labelled GL but I know ppl who disagree).

For my own comics I use the GL label on my sci-fi romance coz the relationship is the focus of the comic.
But I don't use it on my comedy one since the lesbian main character's relationship is featured in like <3% of the pages.
