GL webcomic idea. What do you think about it?

i know, i know...i already have an ongoing webcomic in my hands, and upcoming exams from art academy so i shouldn't put more work on my shoulder right now, but still i'd like to hear what you think about this.

I don't have a proper plot, but i've been thinking about this character for one year now, so i think it's time for them to see the light of the sun

Basically it's a lesbian love story, between an aggressivemì, chainsmoker, biker girl with short hair, acting tough and actually pretty strong too (a character inspired by a dog race: Pitbull) and another girl, the bitchy type in all meanings, sexy, confidenti, provocative and mischieveous.

The thing about these characters is that the tough one is only acting on a facade: she's actually very sweet, kind and shy, but she pushes away people because is scared of hurting them due to her impulsive istincts and super strenght (kinda,,,like a mad pitbull, yeah)

The other one is a mean girl, cold.hearted with always a fake smile on her face, but very needy of true love and cares (she's based on a cocker dog race) her power is voice and touch manipulation,

What do you guys think about these two characters? Could they work together?

I'll only suggest one thing.
Please don't make the darker girl (either her hair or her complexion) the biker.
I've seen so many wlw pairings where the darker one is presented as the more "masculine"/"butch" of the two.

I can't really let go of this idea xD it may sound veery steretyped well, it actually is haha more than masculine one i would describe her as "tough one"

On a side note: I guess I'm kind of jaded of seeing darker girls coded as more masculine against their lighter counterparts because I feel it leads to a "lighter=more dainty, fair, and feminine" mindset. It's like, dark girls can be girly and delicate too.

There's a history of women of color being stripped of their femininity, mostly due to racism. So ya know … it'd be nice to see a pushback.

I think a woman can look "butch" but still be very pretty and feminine So long as you're not making it a point to make either girl masculine, I think it could be good. I'm stoked for mixed-race queer romance regardless! We certainly need a better representation of queer women of color in media.

I think their personalities may clash a bit, that's also the fun in it! It sounds cute to me!

As a person who likes to write, I think this story could turn out incredibly dark and also really f*ckin cool
And I say this without having any idea what the plot of the story is--although my brain is really adamant about it being a supernatural mean girls

Tbh i'm not much into GL, but when i created this characters i thought,,,,huh...it could work out.
I used to have many dynamics for them in the recent past, but now i absolutely have no idea on how to plot the story xD

I feel XD Granted, I almost exclusively write GL since it's. um. well. cause gay.. anyway. but yeah I just recently started writing a story I had thought of like four years ago, so I mean you can't really rush the creative process

Where did you mention the biker girl being darker tho? I can't see it anywhere xD
I have to agree it would be nice to go against stereotypes and have the pretty (wannabe) mean girl be the darker one^^

Oh no, the biker girl is not the darker one, though...i'm having second thoughts about the bike because...i can't draw bikes xD they are on another skill level i'm not ready for ahahah

..make her a really badass skater or surfer? roller-skater? unicyclist? (at least that stuff is easy to draw xD)

a badass boxer lool it's a shame that she can't control her own strenght haha she could kill someone with a simple punch or break your neck witha slap in the face, that kind of supernatural strenght xD
