Okay... this I will accept. the last time you said marketing to me you implied (or I got the implication, it is possible I misread it) less than professional behavior on my part, thus my taking umbrage and I apologize (also got snarked at today so last nerve is a little raw but that's no excuse.)
That aside,
I agree, this could be good marketing. Like I said, I wasn't aware of them, I know both the reviewers (it turns out) but they didn't mention they'd put anything on Goodreads and, as it turns out, you're supposed to "claim" ownership so those things have been sitting there for a few months without anyone doing that. I wish I'd known earlier.
Because the particular piece has been optioned there are terms of the contract that have to be met so I need to know if references to it are showing up anywhere. I realize the reviewers were being helpful but I wish they'd told me. The reviews don't go against the contract but there's always the chance of well meaning people dropping a ball.
Again, I apologize for taking umbrage.
