Not a writer as my main thing, but I've used Pages, Word, and Google Docs... Now I keep everything in Obsidian. It's super nice and clean, and you can organize it to your fancy. Heck, you can even make the whole UI different if you want. You can also create a whole directory for one project and separate it from the others. You can keep multiple tabs open--whether that's mood boards or documents you need eyes on simultaneously. Then you can leave those tabs open and come back to them later when you reopen the app.
I liked Google Docs a lot for organization... but I hate Google. So I made a huge switch recently for my browser and search engine, and then downloaded Obsidian and watched a single YT video to get started with it.
I'm not into the marketing of the app being "hack your brain" because... it's just a note-taking app that's malleable. The ads for it are a bit over-the-top for me. lol But the app itself is great.
Not sure if you're interested in Obsidian at all, but here's a very straightforward video I found helpful. :>
