@abdullah14312 many thanks for the horror promos and happy Halloween season :pumpkin:

Working on an action horror comic that follows two brothers who are asymptomatic carriers of a virus that causes them to infect and turn others into monsters.
They unwillingly start an outbreak!
The brothers' condition also grants them unusual powers and a fighting chance to survive all odds. They hope to reunite with their parents but the further they go it seems unlikely!

Action horror videogames like Dead Space, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and movies like Evil Dead , Stranger Things and The Thing are inspirations.

Long time I haven't seen Scream, my 4 year old nephew wants to go as Ghost Face this year, he never saw the films of course but his uncle (me) is a horror fan so that's fascinating XD

Have too many fave Horrors but my alltime fave is The Ring: USA remake

Thank you for the thread, @abdullah14312!

My comic is called Beneath the Woods and it's a supernatural horror comic inspired by Gravity Falls, Stranger Things and Infinity Train. The main focus of the story are the mystery elements, but down the line, there's going to be lots of demons, spooky monsters, body horror and cosmic horror!

As for horror shows, my favorite is definitely Stranger Things haha. I really enjoyed the first two seasons, and it helped me get more into the horror genre, which I had been very apprehensive about getting into at that point. I also really enjoy Owl House, though that's horror / fantasy rather than just horror.

Wow, I really like your use of colours, subbed! Stranger Things is awesome, I still need to watch the last 2 episodes, it's definitely one of my favourites. Have you seen Gravity Falls?

Wow, brilliant use of cgi, the premise sounds pretty cool too, subbed! I've seen the Scream show but have yet to see the movies, I heard the newest one was really good. The Ring, is that the Dreamworks one?

@abdullah14312 yea the dream works one with Naomi Watts, loved the two films :tv:
haven't seen the 3rd, heard it wasn't as good
Hope one day you get to see the movies then, yea they were awesome back in the days
Didnt see the newest one, will have to check it out too, nice ppl say it was good

Thanks for thinking the premise and cgi looks cool  was going for a videogame aesthetic :video_game: Many thanks for the sub, hope you enjoy it, subbed to yours too and look forward to reading yours too

You got the videogame aesthetic down pretty well, what did you use, blender? Thanks for the sub!

@Hipiticus many thanks friend yep blender but also daz 3d and umodeler. Usually mix original assets with Daz assets which has been a timesaver too. You're do 3d art also?
Yep glad to support you too, your genie theme sounds interesting with the horror x magic and the consequences attached. Keep it up

I got into 3D art for some time but after trying to make my own model gave up lol. I downloaded maya with my student email account so it was free for 4 years but only used it for a couple of days

Nice on trying, sorry to hear you gave up lol XD
yea Maya was one I studied in Game Design School, yea i rem the free version mines expired now  Pro Builder and umodeler remind me of Maya a bit, those work within unity game engine. Plus side with daz is that they already have rigged customizable 3d human base figure so you can check it out if you want to make cg art without learning everything from scratch and also on a crunch for time. Daz is free, doesn't have modelling features but you can import .obj files from Maya, Blender etc. (hair, character shapes (morphs), weapons, clothing and other environment props).

oh wow, thanks for the tips, Daz sounds pretty cool. I think it's time to give this stuff a shot again. Is it easy to pose characters? Have you used unreal engine before?

We just started our own horror themed action comic called Necroknights: Guardians of the Dead.

Anna Myers was just trying to live her best life when, in a twist of fate, her spirit was torn from her body, transforming her into a phantom. She and many other undead creatures are being stalked by an over-zealous ghost hunting agency known as ParaNorm. Her only hope for salvation is The Necroknights—a band of undead vigilantes led by the romantic revenant, Terror Tom. When ParaNorm meddles with dark forces they cannot hope to control, they unleash a supernatural calamity that threatens both the world of the living and the dead. Anna Myers must adapt to her newfound abilities as a phantom in order to help the Necroknights put an end to ParaNorm and the monstrous catastrophe they have created.

Wow, I really like the artwork, looks just like a manga. The red is a nice touch and the premise seems pretty cool, subbed!
