Hello ! It's September and that means Spooky Season is approaching (and I'm certain for some of us, it already started). I made this thread to share all of our recommendations (including your own works of course) for good novels or comics to put us in Halloween spirit.
That can be anything horror, Halloween or Fall themed or anything featuring a Halloween Special.
I would personally like to recommend our very own Townsend Mansion :
It starts right before Halloween and will feature an anthology-style Halloween special as well as a Day of the Dead special right after. We explore various types of horror, such as shock horror, blood and gore, underwater, historical and even a bit of analog horror, all of that in a haunted mansion with a cast of typical horror creatures.
I would also recommend Marakayangan :
An anthology of stories inspired by Indonesian folklore. A great way to discover brand new scary stories, as well as the rich Indonesian culture and it is a perfect late night read with a beautiful art style.
And finally, The Ghoul :
If you're looking for something gruesome and actually scary with an underlying mystery. It has a very cool hand made art style, all in black and white. The only draw back is the ending which leaves too many questions unanswered. But still worth your time.
