I read the synopsis of the play when it was leaked and just. hoooo boy what a mess. i hear it's like a Frankenstein of every post epilogue fanfic out there, and from what I read it sounds waaay too similar to my immortal to take seriously. there are a few things in it I'll accept as canon, like albus being Slytherin, him and Scorpius being besties, but not a whole lot else

basically a very potter musical did it better imho.

I'm soon halfway through it and ... I enjoy it far much more than I thought I'd do!
I honestly love it, and Scorpius, OH BOY WHAT A CUTIE <3<3<3

... But yeah, it's pretty much a mess, but I kind of think it's well done either way?
I'm very curious about what it would look like on stage, there were some big lipped aligator moments in it tho, which I think could be well done without.

i aint read it, and dont plan to spend Any money on it... oh my days. its awful. hilarious, but awful. there also seems to be a weird amount of movie influence (like wrt characterisation and that) which i do not like.

that being said, if theres a bootleg - and there will be a bootleg, cmon - id watch it.

I read the synopsis online and I don't really have a desire to read it. Like, I liked the HP series well and good, but I'm not a big Potterhead. My husband bought it when it came out but he has yet to pick it up, despite reading the original series dozens of times over.
