I heard the news this morning. While I no longer work for webcomics I continue to work for some Tapas writers.
So far I wonder what other platforms would be fit still for both writers and artists. I saw the image daiji shared, but I'm a bit concerned as there doesn't seem to be any mentions for Novels and Writers.
Ironically, I was thinking if I were to make a comic nowadays, where to post... Webtoon's guidelines and the whole AI thing became a big no for me. Webcomics App support is less than desirable so I'm not sure if they are reliable yet. Of course, talking of the platforms I've used in the past.
So far my only options for webcomics are Tumblr
Learning how to code to make a Neocities page
Or Akaya Media, but they are small and since they are from Latam they don't have much to offer in terms of monetization, but is good to see a platform that still supports original creators and has both english and spanish options, doesn't allow fancomics or AI so at least that's something.
I think it would be great to compile, just in case, some places for writers and others for webcomics, so people know where else to check, or at least refresh our memory regarding their current guidelines as well, things change as time goes on
