I would say I've improved a little in the past 14 months. I'll admit I wasn't all that invested in my own work when I first started NLPCo, especially considering I let an entire year pass before redoing the first episode and beginning a steady upload schedule. At the beginning I was more interested in just putting out content regularly and figured I would allow myself to improve over time if I stuck with it so all of the early stuff is really sketchy, proportions are all wonky and there's no shading for a long while. Now that I'm more comfortable with my characters and my process things go a lot more smoothly and at a faster pace, but I'll admit I'm still not really trying too hard... I do like where things are heading though. I'm not forcing myself to stick to a very specific set of details or anything, which is why the characters' appearances have changed a bit over the last year.
Here's Zonk in the first episode that appeared in 2018, then the redo from 2019, followed by the anniversary revisit, and last week's episode.
Nicole's first appearance was when she dropped off a resume way back in episode 15. Her face got less oval and more angular as time went on. Here you can definitely tell I'm still not all that concerned with maintaining design elements. I don't keep character sheets for any of my characters, preferring to continue tweaking them as I go to suit my own strange whims week-to-week.
Miguel was just "the big employee" in episode 2. Fun fact: none of my characters had names for a long time. They were just avatars for my grumpiness about my job rather than actual characters, which I think is why I don't get that many subscribers. Most of the early episodes are just complaining about customers and no real semblance of a "story" even shows up for quite a while, so new readers who start from the beginning probably just burn out before they reach anything remotely entertaining. Oh, right, Miguel. He just gets bigger and more chiseled as time goes on.
Roadmap gained a few more details. He's always been a tall, lovable Norwegian dude though.

So yeah, essentially things are better but I wouldn't call them "vastly improved." I'm more comfortable with my art but I still don't allow myself the time to get everything perfect, ya know? I still only have a couple days a week to work on it so I don't exactly have the luxury of fine-tuning every line or pose or angle, and this whole thing is already taking forever to get through. I'm sure in another year things will be closer to where I want them to be.
