Hashtags for Creators?

So, I recently learned through a Youtube video that some hashtags can be used to help draw the attention of the folks who run Webtoons. (mainly #webtoonhiddengems and #webtooncanvas). I started my comic with next to no understanding of social media, so that was helpful knowledge for me to acquire.

That said, does anyone have any other helpful hashtags that they would like to share with myself or any other social-media-challenged creators out there? Tapas, Webtoons, or any other sites?

Tapas has #tapascommunity, but I don't know if they use it a whole lot? Overall hashtags mostly categorize your posts for the social media site you're using, and unless there's a competition or art meme that WT or Tapas is doing where they tell you specifically to use a hashtag in order to be found, I don't think they scrub through it. WT tends to do this more than Tapas, too.

But if you go to the discords for Tapas and WT you'll see little community challenges they do, which can help get you on the radar. I really think doing those is how they were able to find me when I got lucky enough to be promoted before.

Well... It's more of a luck factor if you ask me, considering that many people, everyday at every hour work on their series and share their process on social media, as well for those that are fans of already existing series and just repost images of their favorite panels/characters.

So, like, anyone can use the hashtag without being a creator and most of the time people bury each other with the constant use of said hashtags. Not to mention how frequently some post on their socials, be it work in progress or updates of their series.

I don't know any magical hashtag as well, I just use the same ones whenever I post

And so on, sometimes I don't even bother to check if the hashtag is used or if it exist, remember that too many hashtags could lead to your post being "hidden" from search results and such, it's weird in certain platforms and their algorithm.

I feel like the algorithms play like a Yu-Gi-Oh game in the anime, the rules bounce around and make little sense to me. (apologies to the fans)

Personally, I seem to get a good number of visitors from the hashtags, so I have been relying on them fairly heavily. I suspect it is why my Instagram is doing the best of all the places where I post.
