honestly I kinda feel like trying to improve art by using ai will make the person doing that stop going out of their way to try to improve and just stay stuck at their skill level but hey I dislike using ai for creative purposes so

Honestly, a lot of people in the self-published world are doing it. It's part of the process to get a book cover and marketing material

For someone like me who puts a lot of thought into the physical design of items, putting my work through an Ai would ruin what I’m trying to accomplish.

Forms follow function and use. Ai can’t understand why things are made a certain ways, only trends

Take the firearms in my comic, they were made inspired by a specific mixt of period accurate gun

If I were to feed it to an A.I. it would spite out an unholy mix of the wrong gun.

Take my submachine gun. The design is a mix of the sten gun, the baretta m1918 and the Owen submachine gun with a bayonet that is a hybrid of the carcarno and sks bayonet.
An A.I would likely just transform it into ak47 with element of the bren smudged into it if

It would also probably turn every pistol into a mix of a 1911 and a glock.

I think I only ever tried the AI detector sites, after I saw some artists saying they were accused of having AI artworks, to see if I am in any danger. Apparently not xD

Yeah, I heard about that part of Authors even going as far as using CHATGTP for storytelling. Good thing people are calling them out for it.

It's not a good thing. They're literally bullying them, review-bombing, and even threatening to doxx them. It's not a "good" thing. You don't get any bonus points as a writer/artist for hating AI. Your work doesn't become magically more "marketable" for having flaws. Because guess what? The same people who will review bomb you for using the em dash more times than they think is acceptable are the same people who will blast you for a typo or put a comma where they don't like. If you're liking the story, that's ALL that matters. A lot of people work really hard on their work and do not deserve to get bullied because they don't want to follow the crowd.
