Definitely not, I don't know how to do animations. I do make tiktoks with excerpts of my story, but that's the closest I get to videos of any kind.

Years later, right before I had the idea to turn it into a comic, I wanted to maybe develop an actual animated series. In order to get back into that mindset, I made another very short test scene:


Then, after starting work on the comic, but not wanting to let my animator roots go to waste, I tried to uphold a weekly animation practise. Unfortunately I have long since dropped this haha:


technically the middle and the bottom one counts more as animatic, since there's almost no inbewteen.

what softwares does everybody use for their animations?

I use Clip Studio Paint. I have also used TVpaint on the trial version which was awesome, be too expensive unless you are making money from it. If you are using an Apple product, I have heard really good things about Procreate Dreams. Aaron Blaise used it to make a short and he liked it. (he animated Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast for the 80s so he knows what he's talking about.)
