So my team just got this email from a place called Frames.net. They're saying that they're willing to pay a "one time fee of $1,000 USD" for us to allow them to put our comic exclusively on their platform.

First of all: Tapas folks they said they found our comic specifically through your app, and it looks like they're willing to pay creators to leave here. @michaelson I thought you might wanna know about this.

Second: Dude, this seems shady as hell. They have a website, but it doesn't seem to be functioning, and their app isn't something I frankly want on my phone.

Keep a look out guys. You may have this in your inbox sooner rather than later. I have no idea if this is a scam or not, but I just wanted to forewarn folks.

Hm, haven't heard of them, do you have a link to their app?

Seems a bit odd that they've closed down their site while they go on vacation, haven't really heard of that ever happening before.

Even if true, I don't think $1,000 is nearly enough compensation to host your content exclusively on a site that has no network.

Right?! And it looks like they're swiping other folks popular comics just to gain readers. It's so sketchy :s

I've never heard of them before and I haven't received any emails from them either. But it would take me a heck of a lot more than a measly $1,000 in order to have my comic go exclusive with anyone. That sounds incredibly shady imo...

$1000 dollars does sound nice, but too good to be true and why host it on a site with no network. That's just weird.

Sounds too shady and you have to be careful on such thing because you could lose your ownership of your story if your not careful.
