Heard of Drawpile?

Okay so im mostly from the drawpile art community, one ive been in and doin for about a year or so now and I gotta say its suuuper fun for meeting new artists and drawing with your art buddies!

Of course you'd gotta be careful about which ones you use, some are nsfw and there's a few functions you gotta work through to get on more properly run boards where spammers or trolls wont hit your stuff but i definitely wanna know if anyone here has heard of it or used it cuz im pretty curious

Edit: drawpile is a collaborative drawing program! its been doing updates recently for brushes and out of the ole pixel phase

Can you please, explain, what "drawpile" and "heard" means? I'm sorry, just didn't see these terms before and haven't got their meaning from the context either.

Don't know about Drawpile but...

Heard is the past tense of hear but it's slang purpose often means to be aware of something.

It is a strange concept... to think past knowledge was gained from hearing.

ive heard of it but never had the chance to use it. it sounds like its grown since i last saw it mentioned but im glad to see people using it to build artistic connections

im a bit curious though, have they improved on the tools it has or are things still in the mspaint level of drawing tools?

yes i've heard of it, could never use it properly tho, i keep fiddling with the settings and screwing up everyone else's work....

I could see it being fun if you already know someone in the session, or like you and your friends all go on at once. But the few times I've tried it I didn't know anyone, and although it was a decent sizes room everyone was just drawing quietly in their corners of the canvas or if there were a couple who knew each other they only talked with each other

I have actually, but I've never tried it. I mostly do AnonDraw with some friends every once in a while instead.

I haven't heard of it before but it seems like fun! I used to draw simultaniously with my friends on Open Canvas back in the days and this seems very similar. It might be a bit weird with complete strangers but with drawing together with someone you know can be really great.

I think there are also alot of other online sites where you can share a canvas with other people. nothing comes to mind but I have bookmarked a few on my computer (which I;m not using currently) if you are interested I'll show you.

ACK I DIDNT MEAN TO SCARE ANYONE ABOUT IT BUT UHH ITS A GOOD SHARING CANVAS SITE THAT I USE...PRETTY MUCH DAILY at least on the ah specific boards that I use uhm i say "heard" since i was uhh wondering if anyone in the past or current as used it?? im just curious X'D

OOF ITS BEEN, A LOT BETTER from what I hear of a lot of old users that I know, a friend of mine has been paying out of pocket for a domain name of a server, 'syntheticdreams' so that the connections run more smoothly for the boards hosted under it.

kinda weird and hard to use at first for super new ppl And the brushes are pretty neato, definitely out of the mspaint phase. I've seen some people just going ham and making PAINTINGS?? its crazy..

Yeah, I can see how getting into it at first is pretty difficult to really interact with total strangers, could be that it usually doubles as an image roleplaying sorta platform too
