Hello I'm a Mangaka - creator of BLEAKVILLE

Hello everyone, my name is Imani Phillips (MaddMoniArt) I'm a multimedia artist the creator of an upcoming psychological thriller series called "Bleakville" that I've been working on for around 7 years (I'm 21 now).

After graduating from college with a Digital Media AAS, I was finally free to develop my art and writing style the way I want. I've participated in local art events and sold physical copies of Bleakville, a one-shot version, Bleakville art prints, and other varies artwork that I've created. That experience has gotten me closer to a professional level. One of my goals is to finish the first volume of my series which will be over 180 pages of detailed work and bleak storytelling.

I tried eating a hamburger while looking at your gif. No problem, but it does taste like chicken now.

Like your art a lot. "Bleakville" is not a very inviting title though.

The title has a ton to do with the story, I don't want to spoil anything right here.

Your art is very good from anatomy to setting, and I like the sketchy look. It adds to the noir, dark setting and I am actually glad you chose black and white to do the art in because it might have lost the whole story's mood if it were in color. The plot is controversial, but interesting. I think you're off to a great start!

No problem! Along with my main series, I'm also going to create a webcomic version of it on webtoons for mobile-friendly viewing and an additional short-story spin off so fans can have something to read while they wait for big updates on the main series.
