You sly fox.
But interesting little poll you got here!
I've put four things: honest, intelligent, generous, and... honestly, I forgot the fourth one? My brain doesn't function anymore (either realistic or peaceful OTL). Anyway, that selection not because I feel like I need to brag, or because I think most people are stupid or anything. I think what we need to factor in in such an experiment is the different definitions any one of these words can take on for different people.
Take intelligence. Afaik, not even scientists have a common denominator when it comes to that. For me, intelligence means the capacity and/or willingness for critical thought—including questioning your own cultural traditions and their usefulness (or the harm they do on other people less fortunate than yourself). When I look around myself, my neighborhood is full of people who... well. Vote literal nazis.
So I'd say I'm a bit ahead of them when it comes to critical thinking lol; but I don't link intelligence to knowledge, and it would be absurd thinking that I'm more knowledgable than most people because everyone has their topics, their specialties etc.
As for the others? I don't know. I guess it's a feeling we have when we look around us, right? Feeling as if people are anything but generous when all you see is how they stick to their own lawn, so to speak. Or how they tend to close their eyes to injustice. And so on and so on.
I wonder if this little experiment tells you something of the image we have of humanity? So whether we tend to think people are more likely to be helpful/nice etc., or cruel and ignorant? I always thought my image of other people was more or less positive, but somehow I seem to have been disillusioned the past years.
