I think it's been done before, and it can work pretty well. a lot of mangas were light novels first
No that’s a really cool idea! Just make sure not to burn yourself out if you are doing both at the same time @Hocken
Make sure you finish both the novel and the comic before posting so that you don't get off schedule! Comics take way longer than novels!
