Its been a couple years since I read it but I'm fairly sure it was on tapas because I haven't really read novels on other sites.
I'm almost 95% sure the novel was called thick as thieves or something along those lines but I can't find it anywhere. I know the cover was very ornate and there was three novels in the series when I stopped reading it.
It was a BL story, it started in 1800 ish New York where these two guys met and went overseas to France for a reason, I believe had to do with schooling. Anyways when there they snuck out to go into a library after close, this is where they found a hidden passage that held somekind of secret, that they then had to go on the run for. Both of them had powers, one guys i know was that he could speak, understand and read every single language and the other guys i think had to do with lies or something. Anyways so they went on the run together and they ended up getting helped by some other people who also had powers and where trying to fight something, they got into a flying ship was the last thing I remember.
I dont know if I just made up a story but i remember spending a couple weeks reading these books and I very much remember not bookmarking them because I "will always have them in my recently read". They could have been removed from tapas or never existed, but I appreciate any help if this even remotely sounds like a story anyone's ever read before.
