Help, I don't know how to use instagram

Jepp, you can only upload through app. But I think people have also found a way to upload through the browser

Like everyone said you mostly have to upload via mobile.

Or there are programs like Deskgram or Gramblr which allow you to bypass that and post from your desktop n_n

If you're using Chrome, get the extension "Photo Uploader for Instagram" so you can upload images from your PC/mac. When your pop-up opens to upload a file, you need to pick All Files in the drop down menu in the bottom right corner of the pop-up instead of Custom files if you have .png files to upload. .jpg files will work automatically, but you HAVE to pick All Files for .pngs (the extension will say "(.jpg only)" but that can be bypassed with my method)

If you use Firefox, there may be other similar extensions to the one I use, but I don't know if the Chrome one will be available on FF too. And of course Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge do not have extension capabilities

I only have a personal instragram (it's so difficult to get noticed there nowadays I haven't been able to make my start an art one yet)

But I know a lot of ppl simply photograph their screen/sketches/drawings. Apparently art theft is a huge problem on instagram so you might want to avoid uploading high quality pictures regardless.

I'm using a windows surface, so not sure if this works the same on desktop or not, but I believe it uses the same software as our desktops. I just went to the windows app store and downloaded instagram app. Then the trick is to make sure the pictures you add are in your "camera roll" folder. Instagram will only allow me to share pictures from this folder.

You can upload using the app or on Chrome by:
Right click>Inspect (or CTRL+Shift+I on Windows)>Click the two squares on the top left
You'll be in mobile view of the website, and will be able to upload from there

I use mine for marketing my artwork. It’s a great tool, however you only become big if you post daily. Earn a sizable following say 50k followers and consistent interaction via comments on your posts and you start getting some sponsorships that pay monthly for you to keep up with your Instagram posting.

It’s probably the best digital marketing I’ve ever used.

can't say I can upload daily, though on the otherand
I don;t have to stretch my images to 10 minutes, so it seems more doable :U
