I'm having a lazy day and thought id check in with y'all.

How's your day going?

I made air fryer chimichangas last night so for lunch (soon) I'm going to take the leftovers and make some loaded quesadillas.

I'm sitting on like 8 pages of comic cause I'm too lazy to move them to my computer and resize. But enough about me, I wanna hear from you

I've had a nice lazy morning so far, which has been nice. Leftover pizza and home renovation shows is a good way to spend a day.

I started coloring my pages for my Visual Storytelling final, and I'm getting a little worried that my coloring skills aren't quite up to snuff to do justice to my beautiful double splash montage page, and it's getting a little frustrating.

And I've got about forty minutes to kill before I go to work at the library, which is probably going to feel really long because it's been really slow there the last few days.

Thanks! Her name's Winnifred. Sweet and huggable little dog.

My weekend is fine so far, Except for a persky ear inflammation ...
But my day honestly got so much better from seeing the dog @aqua03 just uploaded :cry_02: .
Gonna go work on my comic now, thanks for cheering me up with an adorable dog :heart_03:.

Oh crap i feel ya on the coloring. I dont even attempt it really in my comic. good old black and white that im still failing at lol

libraries are fun, you going for work or pleasure?

I slept in a lot this morning, and I’m in the process of reposting the side stories from my main series to the separate spin-off I created. It’ll clean up the main series.

I'm honored that me and my fluffy little dog can be of service in making you feel better today. We're just doing our duty as proud citizens of the planet Earth.

Thank you. I think she already knows it. :joy:

I love the idea of having a few comics that connect/ spin offs. Im way to lazy though. Good for you! sleeping is good! gotta take care of yourself!

I work at the library part-time as a page, which means I put books away and fix printer jams and remind people they aren't allowed to bring their McDonald's in with them. It's normally great because there's always something to do, but the last few days have been really slow, which makes a five-hour shift feel way longer than it actually is. And when it's slow, I wind up "shelf reading" for hours, which means I get to look at every book on the shelves to make sure they're all in order. It's.... Very exciting...

I kinda did that at my high school. as a TA. I think i would like working at a library. Though i think with the shelf reading i would probably end up day dreaming.

Yeah, I usually wind up browsing reddit a lot while I'm shelf reading. Like read a shelf, read some reddit, read a shelf, read some reddit

A chonky quesadilla sounds really good right now. I might copy you for lunch.

I am very slowly trying to get the flats on the next batch of four comic pages done, but I did do some revamping of my cover/thumbnail and summary for the comic, so I'm feeling productive even though I haven't made much real progress. XD

Winnifred is a great name for such a lovely pupper! :heart_01:

That sounds super productive!! and hey! quesadilla buddies 4 life!

It sounds more productive than it is, since I'm fussing with things that were already done. Though I do think they've improved, so worth it! Eight pages ready for resizing sounds like a great buffer, too. =)

And heck yes, quesadillas buddies!

I actually really struggle with this "buffer limbo". Like im suppose to wait till Wednesday (trying to be consistent) but im like 2 weeks ahead. some way OFF chance someone wants to talk to me about my comic my brains like "Wait- let me rewind to a month ago so im with ya and dont just bust out in spoilers"

Wow apparently ive been holding that in.

How do you do the buffer thing?

I understand that risk of spoilers! With my slow pace, it’s so difficult but I just try to keep spoilers to myself. I haven’t been doing that lately because I ran out.

Since the next episodes of my series, when I resume them, are adaptations and not completely new, it’ll be more doable to prepare them more quickly and build up a buffer. I plan to have one build up by the time I get to the episodes that are completely new, where I’ll need to sketch every new panel.
