Hi, Tapas community!
I am Billy Ryder, an indie artist working on my passion project, “Ranger Ryder and the Roughneck,” a sci-fi, graphic novel series with a Western theme in what I like to call “The Galactic Wild West,” I have already written five volumes and now have them up on Amazon through KDP.
I’d love to connect with fellow creators and get feedback on my work while I continue to improve my craft, as well as get to know a like-minded community and offer what support I can to others.
From a career standpoint my background is high tech but I’ve been drawing and writing all of my life and it's my happy place.
The other thing is, I am trying to navigate the marketing part of being a creator, as I'm sure many of you know creating is one thing and marketing is another beast all of its own! I would love some feedback on the trials and tribulations of marketing graphic novels as well.

My series is based around characters in a Western science fiction set in a distant future where humanity has colonized planets across the galaxy. The story follows Ranger Ryder and Dex, a roughneck mercenary as they navigate high-stakes battles and fight to protect the galaxy from a variety of evils.
I'm hoping that I have found the right community to share my journey with.
