Hehe. Trouble for Wattpad is good news for Tapas.
I joined Tapas in March with just one book. All of my other works are still on Wattpad. I'll likely keep my fanfics there, but I'll eventually take my original books out. It was never a plan to keep them there forever anyway.
What I've learned from posting my first book:
a) regular updates = loyal readers,
b) keep chapters on the short side,
c) interact here on the forums. I once got noticed by Tapas staff and a couple of days later my book was featured.
d) getting your book featured will boost your reads very nicely
e) when you're not posting updates, don't expect reads (bad news for completed books).
Just today, I started posting my book 2 on Tapas and I'm excited. Sub for sub anyone?
