Hey there @rinari and welcome to Tapastic! Your cover art's great and I do really enjoy what you're doing with the glossary lead-in to your comic. The only thing I might suggest is to add more visual elements (concept art, landscapes, etc) behind the text so that it still pops visually to help hold short attention spans. I have a couple suggestions for you in terms of good fantasy comics, too!
I'd be remiss not to suggest my own dark fantasy/horror book, I, NECROMANCER. It deals with a lot of things, so I'm finding the easiest way to describe it is Breaking Bad meets Dungeons and Dragons.
Also, for more light-hearted fantasy and great illustration, I'd definitely suggest checking out @AdventuresOfToad's comic ... THE ADVENTURES OF TOAD. It has a sort of Lethal Weapon meets Masters of the Universe vibe, fun, action-packed, adventurous.
Finally, and I know that you suggested high fantasy vs low fantasy, but I really do always think @dglisson's BEAST BAIT is worth checking out. It's set in modern times, but it's come some crazy out there fantasy ideas (monstrous plants that eat entire cities, giant spiders that could be straight out of LOTR) with some really compelling lead characters.
Best of luck and I'm looking forward to checking out your story as it releases. : )
