Is there any shout-out better than "Hi Mom!"?

Well, we're a day late and a dollar short, but happy belated Mother's Day!

As someone who lost their mom in their teens, I was lucky enough to have a few extra mothers pop into my life and look out for me. As a tribute," I wrote a moment in our comic "Eve" dedicated to not only my own mom but to all of the mothers who raised me in her absence (and heck, the whole comic is dedicated to the mother of my children, so lots of mom energy fuels this venture). Also, BIG shout out to @glennsworldcomicz for drawing this comic and really capturing the joy in this scene.

this one's a tribute to the the mom of the 2 MCs Evan and Owen, her presence is much greater later in the series.

There are several pages of this story but this page is by far the most precious to me when it comes to Motherhood. Her name is Midha, a former Hashashin. She's currently taking care of three children. The girl name Asra is her biological daughter and her two sons, Mukhtar and Sa'ad are adopted.

@kyupol Thank you for sharing that. That's a difficult read but a I'm glad you're channeling those feelings into comics. You're not alone in this.

@stiatent I know a little something about bending rules in the kids favor. Dang, kids are a real grey area (and they CRAVE justice).

@faisalhussein394 And after all that sweetness the kids don't want to sign up to be Hashasin?!

Seems like Evlyn's transition from rough past to having a life she wanted = never wanting these kids to ever feel too stressed out lol
