It's the holidays so why not give some gifts?
I'll be doing some free drawings (probably two to four) to authors who don't draw or aren't confident in their art but would like to finally see some artwork of their characters (believe me, I know what it's like.)
So just share your characters below. I probably won't draw everybody though, so if I don't get to your's, please don't take it as an insult.
other artists, feel free to join in and give some folks free art if you want to, and if you'd like to do a trade with another artist (a gift exchange I guess) that's cool too. This thread is all about the giving spirit.
But be forewarned, you might end up with some flower themed art from me, I'm in a mood lol.
Some reference of my art:
Got only my cover, done by a friend, not my work. Would that be enough?
this is so dynamic, what is the story about? is your character a familiar or is it familiar in the sense of something being well remembered?
I've got two protags, the red head called Lian and her sentient water monster/creature, Ogda. Going with classic monster bond theme: human and these beings can form a pact, signing a partnership contract, classic stuff like that. Technically you could call Ogda a familiar then, but he's the only one that feels like that.
The story features multiple human/creatures partnerships and pacts, some dysfunctional, others are bffs from the start, they all see it differently.
Besides that, it's a mystery/ adventure story, with a fog librarian as the villain for the first arc.
Cool. I can try drawing Lian, but I'll need a description of her since it's hard to tell what she looks like from this picture
Since you said that other artists can join in, here I am! The spirit of giving has caught up to me:)So, novelists, feel free to give me some character descriptions and I will draw them for you! Also, fellow artists, I could always do an art trade with you:)Some drawings I made for reference:
