Honestly, I have no idea how I keep my readers in suspense or how they even keep on reading! XD I dont know if its the terror knowing something bad is going to happen, the mystery or the psychological horror aspect. When I wrote "What is The Price of Freedom" there was something physically there with the main characters and it was herself in another form. It talked to her, yelled at her, criticized her, etc but is it really there? Can it harm her? Can it harm other people? I wanted the reader to question themselves about her surroundings and what she's telling them.
With the new one, M is for Monster, its more or less V.C Andrews' Flowers in the Attic meets Steven Kings' IT. I wanted the reader to know that even in the light, monsters do exist. Whether that is metaphorically or physically. Anyway thats my spill on horror.
