I have seen this question before, but how are views counted again? Because I had a lot of views yesterday, but now it went down a lot.
Views on separate pages count as unique views, so a few people reading through a hundred episodes can easily amount to 300 views. Fluctuation is pretty common.
I want to know this as well. I went from 5.2k views yesterday to 2.7k today. I found that extremely odd.
I know I had around 1.9k yesterday now it went 748 so I was confused. I wonder if it was a bug or something.
@Angel_Keys16 Seems you are not the only one to notice this.
Hey, I just looked at the newsfeed and it said that there was a bug that had inflated the number of the total views and they fixed it so what appears now is the real number.
they said the bug inflated the view count but ours deflated
Hopefully it isn't inflated in performance. I've been pulling 50 to a 100 views everyday (although somedays I just get twenty or nine).
@powerplantanimations 50 to 100 views is good in my opinion. Others (like me lol) struggle to get our stories out there or seen on the app
Numbers are good I'm just worried I've been pulling a lesser amount in reality and the numbers are bugged. Happy they fixed it tho.
I realised that I was pulling a lesser amount since my views suddenly went down by 3k RIP 🤣
3k's still pretty impressive.
Tapas should keep our views growing. I thought the whole point of making comics here is to gain readers. When views get decreased I don't know if that hurts our comics. Just wondering if creators really care about the views or not.
