How can I change my user name and profile pic on the app?

This is most likely a newb question, how do I change my name and picture, I realized I never entered a username, so I checked and I was using my irl name ;-; What should I do about it?

What would you like your new name to be?

You can change your avatar under Preferences settings. Click on your icon in the top right corner of the forums and click Preferences. There scroll down till you see Avatar, and click the pencil next to it to change it.

I'm pretty sure my username worked, but my profile picture didin't change. I clicked on the pencil in the avatar section then chose my photo and clicked save. Did I do something wrong or leave something out?

My changes didn't work on the app ;-; Is there a preferences option on the app?

I tried clicking on the gear in the app but it just brought up a bunch of filter options and such. I don't want to use my full irl name. ;-;

I just checked the app and I was still Ryanmccool8 and I had the stock profile picture. ;-;

Oh, are you talking about on the main Tapastic website? (you're all set on the forums)

On the main site, on your profile page, click the Edit Profile button that shows up under your username on your profile page. (you'll need to log on to a desktop computer to change it)

There you can customize all your stuff. Sorry for the confusion, I thought you were talk about your forum profile. ^_^
