How Do I Draw 'Progressive' Jumping

NOTICE - Anything bright red in the following image are just temporary notes.

So, what I'm trying to do, basically, is show a character jump from the first cube, down to the third cube (hopefully) in just this one panel. Anyone know the best way to do that?

Also, these cubes are moving, so if anyone knows a way I can show differing speeds, that'd also be great.

Maybe draw after images of the character landing on the first two blocks with the real version of them landing on the final block? That's how a lot of comics I've seen do it.

I'll try to find some in a bit. If I can't.... Then I doodle up an general idea of what I have in mind if that sounds good.

I would just show the pathing, and avoid showing the character if I can to make it easier on myself. It can be colored or transparent whatever fits better with the style of the comic.

If I was doing this, I'd draw multiple copies of the character in different stages of the action, treating it like frames of an animation. The action lines aren't a bad idea if used properly, they can be used to guide the readers eye to the next copy of the character and smooth out the action in the reader's mind.
Here's a panel of mine from last year as an example of what I mean. Different action, but the same concept.

DC comics does this regularly with their character Nightwing, since he is an acrobat. They usually draw the character in various stages of jumping across the surfaces. Sometimes with motion lines/blur or fade, but often without anything, just using the composition to direct the eye.
